Mary Schlafke, 84, Jewell, died Thursday, Dec. 25, 2008 at Bethany Manor in Story City. Funeral service were at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Bethesda Lutheran Church in Jewell. Burial followed at Evergreen Cemetery in Jewell. Becker Funeral and Cremation Service in Jewell is caring for Mary and her family.
