Rick R. Van Langen, 61, of Tucson unexpectedly passed away on Oct 8, 2008.

He was born in Belmond, Iowa on November 28, 1946 to Kenneth and Donna Green. He was preceded in death by his father. He is survived by his wife Susan, son Ryan (April) grandson Hayden, daughter Wendee Nichols and granddaughter Elizabeth, parents Donna and Gerald Van Langen, 2 sisters Christine Read (Denny), Susan Buchholz (Dean), brother Greg Van Langen (Holly) and numerous nieces and nephews. Rick served our country in the Air Force, and was employed as an engineer at Raytheon for 19 yrs. He was very active in all aspects of Little League especially District 5.

The family extends gratitude to Raytheon, Northwest Hospital Cardiac ICU dept, and Casa de la Luz on Fountains Ave.

A memorial service will be held at 3:30 on Friday, Oct 17 at Adair Funeral Homes - Avalon Chapel, 8090 N. Northern Ave. Tucson, AZ. A social gathering will immediately follow at the chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Van Langen family at 4682 W. Condor Dr. Tucson, AZ 85742
