Deanna Sue Knapp, 54 of Marysville, CA., entered into new life on Aug.24, 2008 at the Hospice House in Ottumwa.

She was born on Nov. 16, 1953 in Webster City to Marvin and Doris Hanson Knapp. She married Daniel Saunders, they later divorced. She was raised and educated in Webster City, Des Moines and in California, living most of her adult life in California. She was a professional artist and also was a model in her younger life.

She is survived by her stepsons Rev. Daniel Saunders of California and Sgt. Brian Saunders, serving with the US Army in Kentucky. Her brothers Douglas Knapp of Agency, Dennis Knapp of Webster City, Daryl Knapp of Sherman, TX and several neices and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Donald Knapp.

Her body has been donated to medical research with memorial services being planned at a later date. Memorials may be directed to the Agency United Methodist Church or Hospic Inc., serving Wapello County. Kremer
