Gary "Grumpy" Gramblin, 71, of Norway, died Friday, Aug. 22, 2008, at his home of lung cancer. Services: Tuesday, Aug. 26, 10:30 a.m., St Michael's Catholic Church, Norway, with Father Jack McClure C.PP.S officiating. Burial: church cemetery. Visitation 4 to 8 p.m. Monday and one hour before services Tuesday at the church parish center. Scripture service: 6 p.m. Monday.

Survivors include his wife, Suzanne; daughters, Tami (Greg) Werning of Tiffin and Tonya (Brenton) Hakes of Atkins; grandchildren, Hailey and Hayden Hakes; and sister, Janice (Jerry) Elm of Toddville.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.

Gary was born Dec. 4, 1936, in Webster City to Cecil and Anna (Crouch) Gramblin. On June 8, 1963, he married Suzanne Kimm in Norway. "Grumpy" loved spending time with his family. He loved all types of racing and was a true Jeff Gordon fan. He was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
