Donn R. Logsdon, 54, of Fort Dodge, died Saturday, July 12, 2008 at Trinity Regional Medical Center in Fort Dodge. Graveside memorial services will be held 2:30 p.m. Tuesday July 15, 2008 at the French Church Cemetery with Pastor Gerald Caquelin officiating. There will be no visitation. Arrangements were made with the Foster Funeral & Cremation Center in Webster City.

Donn Ross Logsdon son of Donald and Donna Burnett Logsdon was born April 21, 1954 in Webster City. He received his education and graduated from the Bakersfield California Community Schools. Donn also attended 1 year of Seminary college in Louisiana. He worked for both the Iowa and Kansas Department of Transportation prior to being employed with Wal Mart in Topeka, Kansas. In December of 2007, he transferred to the Fort Dodge Wal Mart where he currently worked.

He is survived by his father, Donald C. Logsdon of Grants Pass, OR; brothers, Anthony C. and Paul P. Newman of Fort Dodge; aunt and uncle, Darlene and Gerald Caquelin of Webster City; and several nieces and nephews.

Donn was preceded in death by his mother, Donna Jean Waldron and step father, Jim Waldron.

He attended the Church of Christ in Fort Dodge. Memorials may be sent in Donn's memory to 1428 South 22nd Street, Fort Dodge, Iowa 50501.
