Lois J. Johnson, 79, Mesa, Ariz,, formerly of Williams, passed away peacefully on May 19, 2008 in Mesa. She was born in Moorland, Iowa on Aug. 15, 1928 to Fred and Pauline Consier. She graduated from Manson High School in 1946. On Sept. 9, 1949, she married Robert Johnson and they have three daughters.

Lois worked for Electrolux in Webster City for 24 years until her retirement in 1990. She was an active member of UAW Local 442. After retirement, they spent winters in Mesa, Ariz., locating there permanently in July 2007.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Bob of Mesa; daughter and son-in-law, Roberta and Roger Bell of Fort Dodge; daughter and son-in-law, Diane and Brad Hemken, daughter Pamela Ash, and grandsons Daniel and Michael Hemken, all of Mesa; a sister, Mrs. Irma Pride (W.E.) of Fort Dodge; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Ruth Lentsch and Edna Consier and brother Earl Consier.

Services will be at St. Olaf Lutheran Church in Fort Dodge Thursday at 2 p.m. Condolences may be sent to Robert Johnson, 5418 E. Covina, Mesa, Ariz. 85205.
