Mabel Warwick, 90, of Webster City, died Tuesday, February 26, 2008 at the Hamilton Hospital at Webster City. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday

at the Faith United Methodist Church, with Rev. Mike Willer officiating. Burial will be in the Graceland Cemetery at Webster City. Visitation will be two hours before the service. Arrangements were made with the Foster Funeral and Cremation Center.

Mabel Maude Gage, daughter of James and Maude Studley Gage, was born April 20, 1917 at Webster City. She received her education in Webster City schools, graduating from Lincoln High in 1935. On July 3, 1936, she married Truman Sylvester Warwick at Webster City. Following their marriage, the couple lived in Chicago for 10 years, while there she was employed at Montgomery Wards. They returned to Webster City and she worked at Fairmont Foods, Hahne Printing and Data-Com. Mr. Warwick died January 20, 1980. She retired in 1982. She continued to reside at Webster City.

Mrs. Warwick is survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Gary and Judy Warwick of Council Bluffs; Robert and Judy Warwick of Webster City; daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and Robert Ericksen of Jonesboro, AR; 4 grandchildren; 3 step-grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Virgil and Lillian Gage of Webster City; sister-in-law, Thelma Boozell of Belvidere, IL; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Roger Keith Warwick in 1943; her parents; step-father, Herb Herrick; brothers, Clarence and Clifford Gage; sisters, Mae Benson; Velma Crovisier; Hila Bergeson and Velda Apel.

She was a member of the Faith United Methodist Church; enjoyed cards, knitting, crocheting, fishing and camping with Truman, going on road trips with her best friend, Vi Sweazey, she especially enjoyed her family and friends and her special pets, Rambo and Baby.
