Rebecca Wilson, 53, of Webster City, died Thursday,December 6, 2007 at her mother’s home. A Celebration of Life will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, December 12, 2007 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, with Rev. Travis Schmidt officiating. Burial will be in the Graceland Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour before the service.

Rebecca Lynn Toftee, daughter of Wayne and Ruth Schoenfisch Toftee, was born August 4, 1954 at Fort Dodge. She received her education in Webster City schools. On November 3, 1973, she married James Melvin Wilson at Webster City. The couple resided at Webster City, Ellsworth and Oregon. In 1984, they moved to Farnhamville for 4 years then to Gowrie for 3 years. Mr. Wilson died May 29, 2000 at Gowrie. Following her husbands death, she returned to Webster City with her daughters. She had been employed at Friendship Haven and the Marion Home, both at Fort Dodge. Because of failing health, she had retired.

Rebecca is survived by daughters, Jennifer and Reba, both at Webster City; her mother, Ruth Toftee; brothers, David, Jim and Dale Toftee, all of Webster City; John and his wife, Deb Toftee of Byron, GA; Mark Toftee of Duncombe;
several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her father and sister-in-law, Marsha Toftee in 2004.

She was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church.
