Larry L. McFarland, 65, Council Bluffs, passed away Saturday at his residence after a 2 year courageous battle with cancer. Funeral services are Tuesday at 1 p.m. in the funeral chapel of Cutler-O’Neill-Meyer-Woodring Funeral Home. Cremation will follow the service.

He was born in Webster City to Guy and Betty (Eberhard) McFarland. He worked as a custodian for 18 years at Tyson Foods and was a member of Moose Lodge.

He was preceded in death by his parents and daughter, Laura Beth McFarland. He is survived by his wife, Kim McFarland; daughters, Barbara Boner and husband, Mike, Chelsea McFarland; stepsons, Todd Sales and wife Mindi; Jamie Sales and wife Alice; Scott Sales and wife, Kim; grandson, Aaron McFarland; granddaughters Karla Boner, Briana Boner and MacKenzie Boner, all of Council Bluffs.; 9 step-grandchildren; a half-brother, Gary McFarland, Webster City.
