Cecil (Vernie) Luverne Gramblin, age 75, of Knoxville, Arkansas departed this life on October 11, 2007 in the home of his daughter, Linda House, in Frost, Minnesota.

Cecil was born on September 13, 1932 in Webster City, the son of Cecil and Anna Gramblin. He attended the Webster City schools until his 10th year. He married Ione House and had four children, Randy Allen of Minnesota, Rhonda Marie Beenken (Mark) of Arizona, Linda Joyce House (Mike) of Minnesota and Janis Anne Vorhes (Brian) of Iowa. He later married Virginia Roberts and had two stepsons, Robert and Wade, along with two stepdaughters, Debbie and Tammy.

Cecil is survived by a brother, Gary Gramblin (Susie) of Norway, Iowa; a sister, Jan Elm (Jerry) of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; his children, stepchildren, 13 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. He was preceded by his parents; a sister, Betty Mae; a brother, Marvin Duane; and his wives Ione and Virginia.
