Donald Isvik, 76, of Webster City, died Saturday, March 4, at Hamilton Hospital in Webster City. Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m., Friday, March 10, at Bethesda Lutheran Church in Jewell. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Jewell. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 9, at Becker Funeral Home in Jewell.

Donald Isvik, 76, of Webster City, died Saturday, March 4, 2006 at Hamilton Hospital in Webster City. Funeral services are 1:30 p.m. Friday, March 10, 2006 at Bethesda Lutheran Church in Jewell with Chaplain Sandy Anenson to officiate. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Jewell. Visitation is Thursday evening from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Becker Funeral Home in Jewell.
Donald Paul Isvik was born in Jewell on October 12, 1929 to Alfred and Grace (Ubben) Isvik. He grew up in the Jewell and Ellsworth area, graduating from Ellsworth High School in 1948. On January 11, 1964 Donald married Winifred Inez Bauer in Webster City. They farmed in the Jewell, Ellsworth, and Webster City area. Donald was still an active farmer and an Asgrow Seed dealer. He was a member of Bethesda Lutheran Church and served as a board member of the Kamrar Co-op. Donald enjoyed spending time with his granddaughter and other family members, following college basketball, and was an avid card player.
Donald is survived by his son, Howard (Lori) Isvik of Jewell; his daughter, Beth Isvik of Boone; a granddaughter, Amy; and his brothers and sisters, Sterling (LeNora) Isvik of Kamrar, Betty (Bob) Sharer of Jewell, Arling (Beverly) Isvik of Jewell, Shirley (John) Wilkerson of Torrance, California, and Angelene (Melvin) Meling of Ellsworth. He was preceded in death by two brothers in infancy, Arlie and Ronald; his parents; and his wife, Winifred on July 1, 2004.
