Heffington-Wright Marriage

HEFFINGTON, WRIGHT, DEAKMAN

Miss Rhea Heffington, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Heffington, was united in marriage to Dr. Edison Wright o Gifford, Ill., at Ft. Dodge at the First Baptist church last Thursday, June 30, 1921. They were accompanied by r. and Mrs. Ernest Deakman. Miss Heffington was becomingly attire in a navy blue suit with hat and shoes in contrasting grey. She is a graduate of Gifford, Ill., high school class of 1912 and later was a student of Bryant and Stratton Commercial College of Chicago. She was a successful teacher in the Gifford schools and last year taught here near home. She is an accomplished and winsome young woman who has endeared herself to the community during her three years of residence here, having been very popular and active in public affairs in the young social set and other organizations.

Dr. Wright is a graduate of Gifford high school class [of] 1912, later graduating from the University of Illinois and from Northwestern Medical College. The past year was spent in hospital work in Chicago.

Dr. and Mrs. Wright returned Tuesday morning after a short wedding trip spent at Clear Lake and Mason City. They expect to leave in the near future for Sterling, Ill. where the doctor is located. The Leader joins their many friends in extending best wishes and congratulations for a long and prosperous wedded life.
