Miss Gladys Graham and Mr. Samuel Thompson are Married at Blairsburg.
A wedding of interest to many in this community was solemnized last evening at 6:30 o'clock when Miss Gladys Graham, of Blairsburg, became the bride of Mr. Samuel Thompson, of this city. The ceremony took place at the home of the bride's parents in Blairsburg.
Single Ring Service.
The service was read by David Thompson, of Webster City, an uncle of the bridegroom. Mr. Thompson has an annual license to preach in the United Brethren church in this state, and he is widely known in this community. He used the single ring ceremony.
The bride was lovely in a frock of white silk. Her attendant, Miss Gertrude Graham of Blairsburg, was also dressed in white.
Mr. Thompson was attended by Mr. Ivyl Graham, of Blairsburg.
After congratulations, a delicious wedding dinner was served to the immediate relatives of the couple.
Mrs. Thompson is the eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Graham, of Blairsburg. She attended the high school at Blairsburg.To Live Here.
Mr. Thompson is the son of Mr. and Mrs. C.C. Thompson, of this city. He attended the high school at Blairsburg and later at Stratford. He is now employed with Arch Foster, of this city.
Mr. and Mrs. Thompson will be at home to their friends at 1103 Water street.Hand-dated Oct 3, 1934
