Although she was past 91 years old, the death of Mrs. Nora Raner last Wednesday in the Perry Manor was unexpected. She had been hospitalized in Des Moines with a broken hip but her condition improved and she was able to move to the care center in Perry.
Funeral services for one of Bagley's oldest residents who was known far and wide for her "Green Thumb" with flowers were held Saturday at 2 pm from the Bagley United Methodist church. The Pastor, Rev Paul Donelson, officiated and organist was Mrs. Bill Stanley who accompanied Mrs. Dean Adkins when she sang.
The casket was carried by Russell Klinzman, Raymond Hoyt, Derald Carson, Roger Zeller, Vernon Holmes and Leo Ellis. Interment was made in the Highland Cemetery at Bayard.
