Donald J. Watts, son of Mr. and Mrs. David Watts, was born at Panora February 23, 1905, and passed away July 14, 1973.
He was a resident of Guthrie county until 1956 when he and his family moved to the Fitch farm north of Redfield.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Gladys and three brothers, Everett, Esper and Wayne.
Left to mourn his passing are his wife, Nellie (Lyons); three daughters, Mary Lou of Abilene, Texas; Madeline Cummins of Lisbon Center, Maine and Maureen of Redfield; two sons, Thomas and Timothy of Redfield; two sister, Julia Moylan of Bayard and Isabelle Laudel of California; one brother , Art Watts of Yale; a son-in-law, Raymond Cummins; one grandson Alan Cummins; several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Services were conducted by Father Joseph Schulte at St Cecilia's Church in Panora on Tuesday, July 17. Burial was at Resurrection cemetery between Panora and Guthrie Center. Casket bearers were Leonard Anderson, James Arganbright, Herbert Evison, Richard Flanery, William Moylan and Faris Turner.
