The Adair News, Sept. 3,, 1948:

Mr. and Mrs. Carl Wesack of near Adair have finally received word from the War Department locating the grave of their son, Pfc. Everett H. M. Wesack, who was reported missing in action in September, 1944. Mr. and Mrs. Wesack received word this week that the records of the Department of the Army are being amended to show that "Private Wesack was killed in action on Sept. 27, 1944 in the vicinity of Saulxures - Sur-Moselotte, France, based on burial information received from the commanding general, European Theater." His remains are now resting in plot 3F, row 15, grave 7720, in the United States Military Cemetery, Epinal, France.
