John Clinton Hall, 92, died Monday in the Green county hospital and funeral services for the longtime Greenbrier farmer will be today at 10 am at the Slininger Chapel in Jefferson.
A resident of the Bayard Nursing Home for several years, Mr. Hall was a 60 year member of the Bagley Odd Fellows Lodge and a 50 year member of the Bagley Rebekahs.
Born in Maxwell August 1, 1880, he was married to Julia Thaler January 10, 1899. They were parents of two sons Harley of Scranton and William of Johnston.
The Halls moved to Bagley in 1960 where he lived until he entered the nursing home. His wife preceded him in death as did his parents and a brother, Edward.
Besides the two sons, survivors include two granddaughters, five great grandchildren and a large number of great, great grandchildren.
Rev William H Morehouse, pastor of the Bagley and Greenbrier United Methodist churches, was to officiate at the service and Mrs. Le Edwards will be organist.
The casket will be carried by Bill Dawson, Lyle Hoyle, Howard Austin, Lynn Lloyd, Richard Wilcox and Jess Bates. Interment will be made in the Greenbrier cemetery.
