Former Guthrie County recorder Lulu Burchfield died last Thursday at the Craft Care Center in Panora. The 82 year old teacher and county official was a native of Panora and spent all of her life there.
Final rites for Miss Burchfield were held Sunday at the Beidelman Funeral home in Panora at 2 pm. The Rev Robert Ordway officiated and interment was made in the West Cemetery at Panora.
Survivors include a sister, Zelpha Heildand, and a brother, Lorence Burchfield, both of Panora. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
