Funeral services for Mrs. Raymond (Jessie) Betts, 70 of Coon Rapids will be held Friday at 2 p.m. from the Christian Church in Coon Rapids. The Rev Don Crambill will officiate and the casket will be carried by nephews. Interment will be made in the Orange Township cemetery.
Daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Patch, Mrs. Betts was born December 6, 1906, at Coon Rapids. After here marriage to Raymond Betts in 1924, they farmed in Guthrie County until 1932 when they moved to Coon Rapids. She was living in the Thomas Rest Haven when she died Monday.
Her surviving children are Raymond C Betts of Whittemore, Mrs. Richard (Geraldine) Schwab of Brookfield, MO, Mrs. Dannie (Icil) O'Connell of Madrid, Dwight Betts of Story City and Dewey Betts of Storm Lake. There are 12 grandchildren nine great grandchildren and sisters, Mrs. Frank (Icil) Moss of Homewood, Ill, and Mrs. Fern Ragor of Coon Rapids.
