Ocheltree, Milford (1914-??)

An apparent heart attach claimed the life of Milford Ocheltree during the night Saturday at his home in Senior Citizens Apartment number Three in Bayard. He had been subject to a heart problem and was ill when he retired Saturday night. He was discovered Sunday morning by his sister-in-law Velma Ocheltree.
A native of Bayard, Milford returned to Iowa last year after retiring from a professional dying career in Hollywood, Calif, where he was employed by movie and television studios.
Son of Mr. and Mrs. Jefferson Ocheltree, he was born May 11, 1914. Following graduation from Belle Plaine High School, Milford lived with a sister in Chicago for several years and was employed there. For the last 28 years he had lived in California. He never married and is survived by one brother, Winfred of Bayard; a brother-in-law; sister-in-law, and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death were his parents; a brother, Jeff, and sisters, Alpha and Velma.
Final rites for Mr. Ocheltree were held Wednesday at 11 a m from the Bayard Church of Christ. The minister, LeRoy Guernsey, officiated with Gerald Raymond assisting. Interment was made in the Highland Cemetery. Music for the service was furnished by Trudy Maddux at the piano and Paulette Garwood who sang two hymns. The casket was carried by Frank Botts, Larry Murphy, Fred Christensen, Dave Poole, John Poole and
Paul Hay Jr.
