Henry Peterson was born in Denmark, October 8, 1824 and died in Panora, Iowa, April 6, 1902. In 1853 occurred his marriage to Johanna Jorgenson. To them were born three sons and three daughters; five of whom are still living. Mr. and Mrs. Peterson came to Illinois in 1870 and six years later to Guthrie County Iowa where they have resided ever since. About a month ago Mr. and Mrs. Peterson moved to Panora. From early childhood Mr. Peterson was a member of the Lutheran Church. The funeral services were conducted Tuesday, April 8 by Rev. John Diehl at the Dunkard Church. Mr. Peterson was a man who always had the respect and esteem of his neighbors in the community in which he lived and his presence will be sadly missed by those who have known him so long.
