AMY BERTHA LUNDSTRUM

Amy Bertha Cave, was born July 14, 1884 on a farm in Penn Township, Guthrie County, to Addison and Camella Cave.

As a girl she attended both West Milton and Pioneer schools, also Dexter Normal school and was a member of the Union Chapel church.

On Dec. 20, 1910, she was united in marriage to Elmer Lundstrum of Omaha, Nebr., who preceded her in death on Jan. 11, 1919.

Mrs. Lundstrum was by profession a school teacher, and taught in the rural Guthrie, Dallas and Adair county schools for almost 25 years.

In later years she made her home on a farm near Winterset where she was housekeeper for Ira Peed.

She passed away Feb. 2, 1960 after an illness of several months, at the age of 75 years, 6 months and 18 days.

She is survived by two brothers, Ray Cave of Dexter and Clyde Cave of Menlo.

One sister (Mrs. Oscar Harlan) of Dexter preceded her in death.

Funeral services were held Friday, Feb. 5 from the Bufkin Funeral Home with Edna Hutchins officiating. Music was presented by Robin Lawson, organist. Flowers were in charge of Mrs. Glen Price and Mrs. Art Hanner. Casketbearers were Glen Price, Everett Godwin, Wayne Faux, Gerald Cave, Phil Fagan and Bill Cave. Interment was in the South Oak Grove cemetery.
