Ivyl McCool, 62, well known Bayard area farmer and Guthrie Center businessman died early Wednesday in California where he and Mrs. McCool had gone to spend Christmas with their son, Dennis and his family.
The McCools left their home in Guthrie Center Tuesday morning and flew to California arriving at the Dennis McCool home in Fresno Tuesday evening.
It has been reported that Mr. McCool suffered an apparent heart attack and was declared dead on arrival at the hospital.
The body will arrive in Omaha at 7;45 p m today and will be brought to the Starling Funeral Home in Bayard where it will remain until the service which is scheduled at 10:30 Saturday. The service will be at the United Methodist Church in Bayard with the pastor, Rev A Keith Hauser, Officiating.
