Mother of 9 dies on a county road

A Guthrie County woman, Mrs. Clarence (Coleta) Templeman, 35, mother of nine, was found frozen to death on a road near her Monteith home early Saturday morning.
Cause of death according to the death certificate was exposure and alcoholism.
The report pieced together by the sheriff's office indicated that Mrs. Templeman and her husband were on their way home about 2 am.
Somewhere along the road, Mrs. Templeman got out of the car and her husband proceeded toward home. When he returned he found her in the road.
An autopsy was called for and it showed that the body had non-fatal bruises.
Among the survivors is a three-week-old son.
Final rites were held Wednesday from the Monteith Christian Church with Rev J Milton Kinney of Guthrie Center officiating. Burial was made in the Monteith Cemetery.
