Mr. and Mrs. Roy Carper of
Guthrie Center announce the mar-
riage of their daughter, Dorothy
Carper to Dayton Lehman, son of
Mr. and Mrs. Morris Lehman of
Adair at three o'clock in the after-
noon on Sunday, September eight-
eenth at the Little Brown Church
in Nashua, Iowa. The Reverend
Hanscom officiated at the double
ring ceremony.

The bride wore a blue rayon
taffeta street length dress with
white accessories and had a cor-
sage of white gladioli and red rose
buds.

Miss Elva Rasmussen attended
the bride as maid of honor. She
wore a brown taffeta street length
dress and brown accessories with
a corsage of white gladioli.

Gaylord Lehman, cousin of the
groom, served as best man. Both
he and the groom wore business
suits.

The bride graduated from Guth-
rie Center High School and since
that time has been employed at
Randolphs.

The groom has been engaged in
farming near Adair, Iowa, where
the couple will make their home.
