Mrs. Claus Ibling of Parkersburg Dies

Mrs. Claus Ibling, 65, died Friday at her home following a long illness. Funeral services will be held Monday at 1 p.m. at the home, then at the Baptist church. The pastor, Rev. August Lang, will officiate, assisted by Rev. M. F. Miller of the Congregational church. Interment will be at Buck Grove.

Mrs. Iblings, 68, Born In German Twp. Died Friday

Mrs. C. A. Iblings, who was born in German township, Grundy county, sixty-eight years ago on the 15th of April, died at her home in Parkersburg Friday. Her maiden name was Hattie Slight. She was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Martin Slight, among the first residents of German township.

Mrs. Iblings became afflicted with heart trouble last fall. This with other complications resulted in her death.

Funeral services conducted by Rev. Lang were held at the Baptist church at Parkersburg Monday afternoon. Burial was in the family lot in the cemetery at Buck Grove where her father and mother are buried.

Mr. and Mrs. Iblings were married 39 years ago. They lived on a farm near Parkersburg until last fall when they moved to town.

Surviving are the husband, six children, eight grandchildren and two brothers. The children are Earl from Parkersburg, Mrs. Frank Huisman and Mrs. Jake Peters, Wellsburg, Mrs. Hugh Joseph, Mercede, California, and Mathilda and Carl from Parkersburg. The two brothers are John from Parkersburg and Dan from Cedar Falls.
