Orlow Webrand , 53, 406 1/2 Main Street died Monday at 8:30 p.m. at his home following a lengthy illness.

Funeral services have been tentatively set for Friday afternoon, at the Dahl Funeral home with the Rev. J. E, Pritchard officiating.

He was born, September 2, 1907, at Dike, the son of Dick and Alice (VanOosten) Webrand. He grew up and attended school there.

He married Emma Meinders in 1933. She died in 1938. He married Harriet Meinders November 30, 1939. Mr. Webrand was employed as a construction worker for Peter Christensen, until April 1959 when he became disabled.

Surviving are his wife, Harriet; two sons; Orlow A. Jr., and James E. both of Cedar Falls; a daughter Mrs. Frank Crawford, Cedar Falls; two sisters and four brothers; Mrs. Florence Meinders, Mrs. John Rand and Jack Webrand all of Cedar Falls; Melvin of Shell Rock and Henry of New Hartford.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, and three brothers.
