Thos. McCullough Dies at Morrison

Thomas Houston McCulloch, aged 71, passed away at his home in Morrison at 3:30 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 28, as a result of pneumonia followed by a paralytic stroke.

Mr. McCulloch was born July 8, 1876, at Maryville, Tennessee. He was united in marriage to Belle Needham at Maryville, Feb. 15, 1903. He and his family lived in Illinois for a number of years, moving to Grundy county, Iowa, in 1915, where they have since resided.

Mr. McCulloch is survived by his widow; 3 children, Mrs. Albert Goble of Morrison, Virgil McCulloch of San Francisco, and Mrs. W. E. Lau of Atlantic, Iowa; one brother, David, and one sister, Sally Ann Reagan, both of Maryville, Tenn.; and six grandchildren. One son, Ray Houston, preceded him in death on January 8, 1944.

Funeral services were held in the First Presbyterian church at Morrison at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, with Rev. Virgil Smith officiating. Interment was in the Morrison cemetery.
