Mrs. Ellen Fossler died near Morrison Saturday night, from cancer. Her remains were laid to rest Monday in the cemetery near that place. She was a sister-in-law of Mr. S. Fossler, of this city.

Died, at the home of Isaac Coffman, one mile north of Morrison, on Saturday, December 2, 1893, Mrs. Ellen Fossler. The deceased was born in Washington county, Maryland, March 20, 1833. Moved to Ogle county, Ill., while yet a child. She was married to Chas. W. Fossler, who died two years ago, March 31, 1850[sic]. They removed to Grundy county, Iowa, in February, 1878. The funeral was held at the Presbyterian church, Rev. Logsdon, preaching the sermon. The remains were laid to rest beside those of her husband in the Morrison cemetery.
