Independence--Perry McLane, 71, died Sunday night at a Dubuque hospital; services will be 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Hope Wesleyan Church in Independence with burial at 3:30 p.m. at Washington Township Cemetery at Morrison; survivors include his wife, Ruth; two sons, Fred and Dennis, both of Independence; two daughters, Mrs. Harold Stacy of Carmichael, Calif., and Mrs. Paul VanZant of Oakley, Calif.; nine grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Geneva Parsons, Oklahoma City, Okla.; friends may call at the White Funeral Home in Independence after 7 p.m. Monday.
