Ralph Hostetter

Funeral services for Ralph I. Hostetter, 71, of 728 W. Park Ave., will be conducted Wednesday at 1 p.m. in the Locke Funeral Home, the Rev. Ernest W. Philippi, pastor of the Lord of Life Lutheran Church, officiating. Burial will be in the Morrison Cemetery in Morrison.

Mr. Hostetter died of a heart attack in the home of his son, Robert, Sunday at 6:30 p.m.

He was born May 10, 1899, in Perry County, Pa., the son of Abraham and Sarah Hostetter and married Marie Hardie at Reinbeck in 1918. Mr. Hostetter was employed as an interior decorator in Waterloo and was a member of the Lutheran Church.

He is survived by his wife, two sons, Robert of 232 Reber Ave. and Kenneth of Grundy Center; one sister, Mrs. Nellie Krueger of Chicago, Ill.; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, five brothers and one sister.
