Mrs. Bulthuis

Mrs. Anna Bulthuis was born at Rysum, East Friesland, Germany, November 1863, and died at Morrison, Iowa, Dec. 12, 1904. She was married Feb. 2, 1866[sic], at Pekin, Ill., and came to reside in Morrison in the spring of the same year. She leaves a husband, seven girls and one boy, the youngest of whom is three years and the oldest eighteen years, who mourn their loss. The death of this estimable lady is a severe blow to her aged parents who still live in Logan County, Illinois. Four of her brothers and one sister Mrs. Stephens, of Morrison, survive her. She was a lady of right principles and an affectionate wife and mother. A host of friends mourn their untimely loss. Funeral services were held at the Presbyterian church at 2 o'clock and was largely attended by sympathizing friends. The services were conducted by Rev. A. Rederus, pastor of the church.
