Meaney Infant

Committal service for the infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Meaney, 1146 Cornwall Ave., was at 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Mary's cemetery, Dike. Rev. Fr. Justin Kress, Grundy Center, officiated and Ray Hurley Funeral home was in charge.

The baby was born prematurely at 5 a.m. Sunday at St. Francis hospital and died shortly after birth. His mother is the former Mercedes Murphy.

In addition to his parents he is survived by his maternal grandmother, Mrs. Mae Murphy, 100 Bourland St., and his paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Simon Meaney, County Clare, Ireland.
