Madeline Larson Passed Away At Cedar Rapids
Madeline M. Larson, 66, of Tipton, widow of Seth L. Larson, Sr., died Friday at Cedar Rapids following a sudden illness.
Formerly of Wellsburg, she had been a Tipton resident for 15 years.
Born May 8, 1907, at Cedar Rapids, she was married to Seth L. Larson, Sr., who preceded her in death in 1936. She was a service representative for the United Telephone Company prior to her retirement.
Mrs. Larson was a member of the Helping Hand Club, Rebekah Lodge 517, Tipton Business and Professional Women's Club, American Legion Auxiliary, and the IBEW.
Surviving are three sons, Seth L. Larson, Swisher; Robert A. Larson, Brawley, Calif., and David P. Larson, Medford, Wis.; a sister, Mabel Simon of Cedar Rapids; two brothers, Charles Paul and Addison Paul, both of California; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Memorial services were held Monday at 1 p.m. at the Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories with Pastor David F. Larson of St. Mark's Lutheran Church officiating. Burial was in Cedar Memorial Park cemetery.
