Asa Frisbie

Asa Frisbie was born March 2, 1861, in Bradford county, Pa. He died January 1, 1919, at Eldora.

When an infant of 3 years, Mr. Frisbie's parents came to Berlin, Hardin county, where he grew to manhood. For the past six years his home has been with his aunt, Mrs. E. M. King.

Mr. Frisbie is well known to all older and present residents of Eldora among whom his life has been spent and openly read. His work as a tradesman has always been of the highest order. His devotion to and care for his aunt during the past few years has been a splendid example of service and helpfulness. All friends are close in sympathy today for Mrs. King thus deprived of his constancy.

In the immediate family, in addition to his aunt, Mrs. King of Eldora, a brother, Morris of Birmingham, Wash., and a sister, Mrs. Edith Bailey of Bradford county, Pa., still survive. A brother, Frank, died in early manhood.

Mr. Frisbie's death was very sudden and unexpected. Although unwell for the past weeks he had been about his usual work. However, while arising on New Year's morning, he fell, death having apparently come instantly.

By loving friends he was laid to rest last Saturday in the Berlin cemetery beside his mother, father and loved ones, who have gone on before.
