Died, the infant child of Mr. and Mrs. D. J. Peters on Sunday afternoon June 12, 1898 at 4 o'clock. Funeral services were conducted at the house and at the church Wednesday afternoon. The remains were laid to rest in the Wellsburg cemetery in the presence of a large number of sympathizing friends. The loss of their child is a great affliction to Mr. and Mrs. Peters, and their multitude of friends deeply sympathize with them.
