Ubbe Beving, an old and highly respected citizen of German township, Grundy county, Iowa, died Sunday, November 15, 1896, aged 61 years. The funeral occurred from the Kleibenstein church last Thursday. Mr. Beving had been ailing for about five years and was confined to his home a greater part of the time. He leaves a wife and six children, all grown to manhood and womanhood to mourn the loss of a devoted husband and father.
