HICKMAN, BOATSMAN, BOOTSMANN, JOHNSON, JANSSEN

Died at her home southeast of town last Saturday morning Mrs. Peter Hickman age 76 years. She was sick about two weeks with pneumonia. Mrs. Hickman was born in Germany and came to Iowa 35 years ago. She was married to Mr. Boatsman before leaving the old country, five children was the result of this marriage three of whom are living. The oldest son died in the U.S. army. She was married to Peter Hickman 25 years ago, he died in two years, since which time she has lived a widow. She was a sister of Ubbe Johnson and Mrs. Hie Miller. Two brothers and two sisters survive her. The funeral occurred last Tuesday at the Smith's church, Rev. Smith officiating.
