Died at Beaman, Iowa, July 5th, 1888; Solon S. Beaman was born in Ashtabula County, Ohio, Dec. 16, 1822; came to Stephenson Co., Ill., in the year 1834 where he lived until 1860 when he moved to Grundy County, Iowa, where he has since resided up to the time of death.
