Mrs. M. Gladstone Dies in Chicago

Funeral Rites For Former Resident Will Be Held Today (Thursday)

A message was received Wednesday night by Mrs. C. H. Heddens from Maurice Gladstone of Chicago, stating that Mrs. Gladstone had passed away and that the funeral would be held today (Thursday).

Mrs. Gladstone has many friends in Wellsburg who will be grieved to hear of her untimely passing. Besides her husband, she leaves two sons, Lee and Melvin and many other relatives to mourn her loss.

While living here when Mr. Gladstone was in business in Wellsburg, Mrs. Gladstone made warm friends of all with whom she came in contact, her kindly disposition being shown in every way. She was always interested in all that helped to make life better and did her part at all times as a member of the town's most progressive body of residents.
