Bruce P. Dall, 59

Bruce Peter Dall, 59, of Dike, died July 2 at the University of Iowa Hospitals.

Mass of Christian Burial was July 6 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Waterloo. A memorial fund has been established.

Bruce was born on March 10, 1942, in Cedar Falls the son of Harold E. and Evelyn C. (Badje) Dall. He graduated from Dike High School in 1959. He was united in marriage to Sheila Mae Haigh on September 17, 1960, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Waterloo.

Bruce worked for the Dike Coop shortly after marriage. Later he farmed for many years near Dike. For the last 10 years he has been a salesman for Southern Classic Trailer Sales in Sumner. Bruce served on the Dike Fire Board, was a proud member of the N.R.A., a charter member of the Dike Jaycees, and a long-time 4-H leader. He was a former Sunday School Teacher at Fredsville Lutheran Church and in 1974 was named the Grundy County Grand Master Pork Producer.

Survivors include his wife Sheila of Dike; seven children, Bentley and his wife Amy Dall of Dike, Daniel and his wife Ann Dall of Solon, Juli and her husband Joe Miller of Hampton, David Dall of Cedar Falls, Bruce Jr. and his wife Billie Dall of Ackley, Sara and her husband Derek Hansen of Dike and Douglas Dall of Dike; 12 grandchildren; a sister, Cheryl and her husband Edward Clausman of Edna, MN; grandmother, Nita Dall of Cedar Falls; and an uncle, Peter Badje of Dike.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
