Three Year Old Daughter Of Sena Arends Died Thurs.

Shirley Lou, the three year old daughter of Sena Arends, passed away at the Children's hospital in Iowa City last Thursday. She had been sick for about two months suffering with lymphatic leukemia and was taken to the children's hospital in Iowa City Nov. 11, but received no relief.

She was born August 11, 1931, and passed away November 22, 1934.

Short prayer services were held in the Kistner funeral chapel in Waterloo Sunday afternoon at 12:30 and funeral services were conducted in the Gospel Hall in Stout at 2 o'clock with Oliver Smith of Waterloo in charge. Burial was made in the Stout cemetery.
