Margaret Ann Storjohann, 81, of Reinbeck, passed away February 26, 2018 at Allen Hospital in Waterloo. A visitation will be held Thursday, March 1, from 4-6 PM at the Union Congregational United Church of Christ in Reinbeck. A memorial service will be held the following day on Friday, March 2, at 10:30 AM at the Union Congregational United Church of Christ in Reinbeck. Visitation will resume from the evening prior at 9AM. Inurnment will take place after the service at the Reinbeck City Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the family to be donated to a cause of their choosing at a later date. French-Hand Funeral Home is taking care of Margaret and her family.

Margaret Ann Storjohann was born on February 25, 1937 in rural Lincoln, IA to her parents Edwin and Frieda (Lueth) Lohse. Margaret attended Reinbeck High School graduating with the class of 1955. Margaret was united in marriage to Harold Storjohann on June 5, 1955 at the Union Congregational United Church of Christ in Reinbeck. Harold and Margaret made their home in Grundy County. Of this marriage, three children were born, Vicki, Rick, and Jeff. Margaret worked alongside Harold on the family farm. Margaret worked hard helping with chickens, goats, sheep, pigs, cattle, horses, and a peacock. Margaret was known for many things including her cooking and baking. Margaret enjoyed tending to her garden and canning vegetables and enjoyed spending time with friends and family and being a mother and grandmother.

Margaret is survived by her husband Harold; children Vicki Roberts of Lancaster, PA, Rick (Barb) Storjohann of Norwalk, IA, Jeff (Cathy) Storjohann of Reinbeck; grandchildren Justin (Kelly) Roberts, Ryan (Kelsey) Roberts, Julie (Ryan) Routh, Jason Storjohann, Sarah (Dan) Osborn, Riley Storjohann; great-grandchildren Henry, Avenell, Cora, and Hadley Roberts, Evan and Emily Routh, Addison and Kynley Storjohann, Ayla and Malia Osborn; sister Janice (Richard) Sharp of Perry, OK; sister-in-laws Sally Finke and Karol Storjohann. Margaret is preceded in death by her parents, step-father Fritz Frier, brother-in-laws Darwin Finke and Dale Storjohann, and sister-in-law Diane Giesking.
