L. E. Sinkler, who for the last year has resided here, passed away in the hospital at Independence Monday. He has been in poor health several years and had suffered great pain the last month or more. He had made many friends during his residence here. He is survived by his wife, four daughters and two sons. Mrs. P. E. Benson of this place is his daughter.

Funeral services were held Wednesday morning at 10 o'clock from the Baptist church at New Hartford and he was laid to rest beside relatives in the cemetery there.
