Clyde Case

New Hartford--Services for Clyde Case, 85, who died at his home Tuesday, will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Kaiser-Corson Chapel in New Hartford; burial in Fairfield cemetery; survived by his widow, Florence; 3 daughters: Mrs. Harlan Ackerson, Mrs. Leonard Laymon and Mrs. Larry Sells, all of New Hartford; a daughter by his first wife, Mrs. William Cover of Richmond, Calif.; a step-daughter, Mrs. Lee Sells of Clear Lake, Wis.; a son, Samuel of Waterloo; and a brother, Walter of Wallace, Mich.; friends may call at the chapel after 6 p.m. Wednesday.

Last Rites Held For Clyde I. Case

Clyde I. Case, 85, a long time resident of the New Hartford area, passed away at his home on Tuesday afternoon after a short illness.

Mr. Case was born April 9, 1882, at Norton, Kansas, the son of Cora and Jennie Bartles Case. He was married to Florence Isabell Griffith at Albert Lea, Minnesota on March 29, 1913. The couple celebrated their Golden Wedding Anniversary four years ago.

Mr. Case was preceded in death by his parents, 1 son, Ivan in World War II, 1 brother, 3 sisters, and 1 grandchild.

He is survived by his wife, 4 daughters, Mrs. Harlan (Florence) Ackerson of New Hartford, Mrs. Leonard (Flora) Lahmon, of New Hartford, Mrs. Larry (Joyce) Sells and Mrs. William Cover of Richmond, California, 1 son, Samuel Case of Waterloo, and a stepdaughter, Mrs. Lee Sells of Clear Lake, Wisconsin. Also one brother, Walter Case of Wallace, Michigan, and by 14 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mr. Case were Thursday, April 13, 1967, at 2 p.m. at the Kaiser-Corson Funeral Chapel in New Hartford, with Rev. H. C. ? officiating. Burial was at Fairfield Cemetery, New Hartford.
