The family of Lillian Marie "Lee" Jaspers Early will celebrate her remarkable life with a memorial service and reception at First Presbyterian Church, 4647 Preston Ave., Pasadena, Texas, on Saturday, May 19, 2012 at 2 p.m.

Lee was born on July 24, 1935 and went to be with our Lord and Savior for eternity on May 3, 2012. She is greatly loved, missed and treasured by her husband of 57 years, Harry Early; her children, Kristin, Richard and Andy Early; her daughters-in-law, Patricia and JoAnn Early; her grandsons, Tyler, Ian, Andy, Luke and Spencer Early, and De Ellis; her granddaughter, Jessica Marcha; and her great-grandson, Matthew Marcha.

Lee was predeceased by her devoted son, Les Early; her parents, Lula and Dores Jaspers; her brother, Robert Jaspers; her sister, Arlene Yantis; her brother-in-law, Allen Smith; and her sister-in-law, Beverly Toombs.

Lee enjoyed close relationships and fun throughout her life with her sisters, brothers and her large extended family: Lyona and Chuck Hannahs, Ruth Smith, Paul and Barb Jaspers, Glen and Mary Jaspers, Leo Yantis, and Bob Toombs. She was Aunt Lee to 41 nieces and nephews and their spouses, and always looked forward to the regular family reunions with over a hundred great nieces and nephews and their families. She also cherished her many thoughtful friends within the community and her church family.

The Early family wishes to thank the pastors and prayer teams of multiple churches, who provided friendship and faithful prayers for Lee, especially over the last several years of health challenges; particularly, First Presbyterian Church in Pasadena, Dominion Church, St. Martin’s Episcopal Church, Southminster Presbyterian Church, and Windwood Presbyterian Church.

Thank you, also, to the medical teams who gave us longer time with her through their skill and dedication, particularly her own family physician, the caring folks at M.D. Anderson, and most especially, our treasured friends at Grace Hospice.

In lieu of flowers donations may be given in Lee's memory to: The Pastor's Discretionary Fund at First Presbyterian Church in Pasadena.

“Her children rise up and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her. Many daughters have done well, but you excel them all.” Proverbs 31:28-29
