Wellsburg--Herbert G. Meyer, 71, of Dubuque, formerly of Wellsburg, died Wednesday, Feb. 1, of natural causes; survivors include his wife, Mary; two daughters, Mary V. Moyer of Dubuque and Sherry L. Menadue of Ankey; and two grandchildren; he was preceded in death by a brother, Wayne A.; Ed Siegert-Al Bidesch Colonial Funeral Home, Dubuque, was in charge of arrangements; services were Saturday at St. Columbkille's Catholic Church, with burial in Mount Olivet Cemetery, both in Dubuque; memorials may be directed to Herbert G. Meyer Memorial Fund.

Former Resident Dies In Dubuque

Herbert G. Meyer, age 71, formerly of Wellsburg, Iowa, died Wednesday, February 1, 1995 at Dubuque, Iowa.

Herb was born May 14, 1923, at Wellsburg, Iowa, son of George and Alberdena (Neessen) Meyer.

Services were held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, February 4, 1995, at St. Columbkille's Catholic Church in Dubuque with burial in Mt. Olivet Cemetery at Dubuque.
