Former Resident Here Died Last Week

Alfred Meyer, 63, of La Junta, Colo., died suddenly of a heart attack on Thursday night. Funeral services were held there on Monday. Mr. Meyer is survived by his wife, Helen. He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters.

The Meyer's were Wellsburg residents at one time when they were proprietors of the meat market and locker here.

Mr. and Mrs. Harold Fischer and Mr. and Mrs. Tom Flessner Sr. left on Saturday for La Junta to attend the funeral services. Mrs. Flessner is a cousin to Mr. Meyer.
