Robert Secord, Former W'burg Resident, Dies

Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Claassen received word of the death July 31 of Robert Secord, 68, of Imperial Beach, California.

He died of a lung infection and prior to his death had been in the hospital about a month and for the past year had been in ill health.

He was the son of Art and Bertha Secord who at one time lived in Wellsburg where they operated a cafe. Robert graduated from Wellsburg Community High School in 1932.

Survivors are his wife Phyllis, two sons, Craig and Doug of Denver, Colorado.

Burial services took place in Littleton, Colorado.
