Eva Widmann, 90

Eva Widmann, 90, died April 25, at her residence in Mesa, AZ. She was born September 27, 1911, in Wellsburg, daughter of Siebe and Nantje Riekena Meyer. She graduated from Wellsburg High School where she was an All-State Girls' Champion in Basketball.

Eva married Fred Widmann Aug. 2, 1940, in Waterloo. Fred died March 13, 1944.

Eva is survived by two daughters; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two sisters: Minnie Harlan of Wellsburg, and Curly Baehr of Bella Vista, AR.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one daughter, four sisters, and three brothers.

Graveside services were held at the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Waterloo on May 3.
